The Jaguar Maths in Motion Challenge
It was a great, though serious, day (in Warwickshire). It all took place at the Jaguar Heritage centre in Coventry at the car museum I took loads of pictures, Firstly we arrived and had a very interesting talk about the history of the competition and the importance of engineers at Jaguar. We were then left alone to programme our car (we had an hour and fifty minutes to do that ).It was a very hard circuit (Pickering International) this year so we had to work really hard! After that ,we had a very big lunch -I had chicken Gijon’s and other stuff, it was all very nice. Then before we knew it we were in watching the races. The teachers' race was much easier than ours they had Monaco and our teacher started 13th but came 11th. We started 13th on the grid however, by the end of the nerve racking 53 laps we came a very respectable 7th( in the primary section). A great day wasa had by all of us and I hope to be back again next year!

Maths In Motion
The national final was held at the Jaguar Heritage car museum we were all ready to compete in the maths in motion National Final. In the race we had to compete on a new track that was called Pickering International. We started 13th on the grid which was very good considering that we were up against some children that were from high school. In the end we came 7th in our age range and 23rd out of all the whole national final. We all won a jaguar hat, clock, certificate, a key ring and a badge. The teachers race had a easier track to race on it was Monaco, Mr Duncan and Mr Sealy started 13th on the grid we were getting over taken by some other schools but came back to come finish eleventh.
